Join a premier aquaculture leader as a Seafood Production Worker in Edgecomb, ME, and make an impact every day. As a Seafood Production Worker, youll play a key role in the lifecycle of specific seafood, from seed handling to final packaging. Youll work closely with a passionate production team to deliver high-quality seafood to customers across the United States.What Youll Do: As a Seafood Production Worker, you will be responsible for:
- Sort, wash, and pack seafood in fulfillment of wholesale and retail orders.*
- Measure and fill seed into harvest bags for deployment at river leases.*
- Harvest from the river and restock inventory to maintain a steady workflow.*
- Maintain gear on land and water.*
- Uphold strict sanitation and safety regulations within the packing plant and on the docks.*
- Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiencies and reach daily goals.*
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including personal locker areas.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; no previous experience required (training provided).*
- Personal Characteristics: A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to learn all levels of the business.*
- Skills: Ability to follow direct instructions and communicate clearly with a team.*
- Physical Abilities: Strength to lift up to 50 lbs, excellent balance for working on docks/boats, and the stamina to stand for 8 hours in various weather conditions.
