Job Description
Seasonal Grain & Agronomy Operator (CDL A Required)Location: Nelson, NE 68961Pay: $20.50/hourSchedule:Monday Friday | 7: 00 AM 5: 00 PMWeekends as neededSignificant overtime during harvest seasonJob OverviewWe are hiring Seasonal Grain & Agronomy Operators to support operations during peak agricultural seasons. This role involves working with grain commodities, fertilizers and chemicals in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. No prior experience is required;training is provided.Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload grain commodities
- Blend and load dry/liquid fertilizers and chemicals
- Perform general housekeeping and cleaning of grain elevators
- Assist with light maintenance tasks
- Load railcars at select facilities
- Operate heavy equipment (if certified)
- CDL Class A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (required)
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work long hours especially during harvest
- Comfortable working in dusty environments
- No allergies to corn or grain
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Agricultural background
- Mechanical aptitude
- Equipment operation experience
- Outdoor and facility-based work
- Dusty conditions are common
- Physically active role
- Over-the-ankle work boots (minimum 50% leather)
