Job Description

SEASONAL PARKS AND IRRIGATION LABORER

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

PAY RANGE: $13.80 - $19.31/hour depending on experience and qualifications, with starting wage not typically above the mid-point of the range ($16.55).

SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

DEPARTMENT: Parks

JOB SUMMARY

Performs a variety of semi-skilled duties related to the irrigation of city parks; installs, maintains and repairs water sprinkling systems; assures operation and maintenance of automated sprinkler systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a valid driver's license; all applicants will be required to pass a drug test and background check; applicants need to be able to take direction and have a willing and able attitude; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
