Job Title: SECRET CLEARANCE Manufacturing Engineer Level 4Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer with a SECRET clearance to join a dynamic team supporting advanced aerospace and rocket engine projects. This critical role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes, improve operational efficiency, and support high-stakes defense and space systems.   • Proven experience in manufacturing hardware development, assembly, and integration, especially with welding, machining, and shop floor operations.*
  • Strong knowledge of design review processes (CDR, CoDR, PDR) and CAD software such as ProE or CATIA.*
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, including precision turning, welding, and tight tolerance machining.*
  • Skilled in conducting risk assessments, process certification, and Lean methodology (Kaizen, 3P, VSM).*
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and external partners.*
  • Demonstrated project management capabilities, including managing complex manufacturing projects from conception through execution.*
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience with virtual manufacturing tools and software.*
  • Background in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments.*
  • Prior experience managing large projects or processes involving multiple stakeholders.*
  • Familiarity with ISO compliance and process verification standards.
Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with at least 6 years of relevant experience.*
  • Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience.*
  • Alternatively, 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience in lieu of a degree.*
  • Existing SECRET clearance preferred; willingness to obtain clearance is acceptable.
Other Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory; dual citizenship not permitted.*
  • This position is for U.S. Citizens only with an active or willingness to obtain a SECRET security clearance.*
  • Local travel may be required for manufacturing, testing, or review activities.*
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
