Secret-Cleared Procurement Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking a Secret-Cleared Procurement Analyst in Lexington, KY for a one-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company.

The Secret-Cleared Procurement Analyst will support buying, purchasing, supplier follow-up, data entry, Excel tracking, SAP activity, and procurement recordkeeping. This is an entry-level procurement role requiring active Secret clearance, Excel experience, SAP experience, and strong data entry skills.

Required Skills

• Active Secret clearance required.
• 1+ year of data entry experience.
• 1+ year of Microsoft Excel experience.
• 1+ year of SAP experience.
• Ability to create and use Excel worksheets.
• Ability to support sourcing, purchasing, supplier follow-up, and procurement documentation.
• Ability to compile, track, and analyze purchasing data.
• Ability to maintain accurate records for orders, delivery status, pricing, supplier information, and payments.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Entry-level buying, procurement, supply chain, or purchasing experience.
• Experience reviewing proposals, tracking purchase orders, verifying deliveries, supporting supplier selection, or preparing bid/RFP documentation.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance, price trends, manufacturing processes, and material acquisition opportunities.

What You’ll Do

• Support sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, parts, equipment, services, and supplies.
• Compile and analyze data to support buying decisions and price objectives.
• Track supplier performance, price trends, and purchasing activity.
• Follow up on orders and verify delivery status.
• Maintain purchasing records and support payment approvals.
• Review proposals and support supplier recommendations.
• Assist with RFPs, bid packages, and procurement documentation as needed.
• Use Excel, SAP, and data entry tools to maintain accurate procurement information.

Pay

• $20.00–$21.00/hour
