The Opportunity:

At our Hermanville sawmill, you won't just be protecting property - you'll be safeguarding people, equipment, and operations. If you take pride in staying alert, acting quickly, and working independently, this part-time opportunity might be the perfect fit for you.

This is a part-time position working 30 hours per week and may include nights, weekends, and/or holidays.

What you will do as a Security Guard:

Patrol the sawmill premises, including buildings, equipment areas, and perimeter fencing, to ensure site security.
Monitor and respond to alarms, investigate disturbances, and report incidents.
Control access at gates and entry points, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and contractors.
Identify and report fire hazards, safety violations, or signs of unauthorized access.
Support safety compliance by observing and reporting unsafe conditions or behaviors.
Assist with hot work permitting by performing fire watch duties as needed.
