DESCRIPTION: Artech is currently seeking to add to the below positionJob Title: Security Consultant - Security Strategy, Risk & Compliance ServicesJob ID: 26-09148Location: Bakersfield, CADuration: 6-12 Months Pay: $75-80/hrClient: (Utility)Job Description: A Sr Security Risk Analyst is responsible for assessing the potential risk associated with cybersecurity issues/findings. They use various tools and methodologies such as (e.g., FAIR Framework, MITRE, NIST, etc.) to identify, analyze, and prioritize risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them. This role involves working closely with other cybersecurity professionals and organizational stakeholders to ensure that risk management practices are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Key skills for this role include risk assessment, data analysis, communication, and knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and regulationsRequired skills: 5+ years of IT business work experience Desired Certifications: OpenFAIR, CCSK, CISSP, CISM or equivalent are highly desirable. Decision Making and Critical Thinking Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics Knowledge of IT security policies, standards, and procedures; ability to utilize a variety of administrative skill sets and technical knowledge to ensure cyber security compliance.
