- Allied Risk Management is Now Hiring for Security Guards in and around NYC.
REQUIRED:
- NYS Security Guard License
- SWAC Certification (MANDATORY)
- S-60 Fire Guard License
- OSHA 30 Certification (for construction)
- Valid Drivers License or ID Card
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call the police or fire department in case of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Deter/prevent theft
- Secure designated areas
- Patrol areas for suspicious activity
- Report daily activities
- Respond to alarms
- Walking around and standing may be required during vertical and perimeter patrol.
- Good communication skills
Tools required:
- A working phone with the capabilities of downloading apps that are needed for our time and attendance platform.
