About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established integrator specializing in electronic security, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems for high-traffic commercial environments. They re known for delivering consistent, high-quality work and investing in their workforce from Helpers and Apprentices to Lead Technicians, Foremen, and Project Managers.

This is a long-term opportunity with a strong pipeline of retail projects and clear paths for advancement.

Your Role Lead Security Technician

As a Lead Technician, you ll take charge of field operations on active retail job sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, on spec, and at the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead crews of Technicians (Level I III), Helpers, and Apprentices

• Install and service CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems

• Oversee device mounting, cable routing, and terminations

• Program and troubleshoot security systems

• Interpret blueprints, riser diagrams, and system layouts

• Coordinate with Project Managers, GCs, and site contacts

• Track materials, production, and daily progress reporting

• Ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in electronic security installation

• Proven leadership running crews on commercial or retail projects

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarm systems

• Experience in large-scale big box retail environments preferred

• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications

• Solid troubleshooting and system programming skills

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Reliable transportation
