Description

The JOB:

The Security Manager is responsible for the oversight of safety and security of the hotel, as well as guest satisfaction. This person will work 3 to 4 overnight shifts and remaining shifts will be day and/or evening shifts. This role will conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure all areas are safe and secure, respond to guest and employee emergencies, complete incident reports and supervise the security team. This role will also lead the property during overnights, assisting front desk, night audit, valet, housekeeping and room service when needed. The Security Manager leads the Safety Committee, ensures compliance with OSHA standards and promotes safe work practices. The Security Manager is also a service-oriented professional with the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

YOU:

To be successful in this position, we're looking for someone who thrives on interacting with guests and team members and enjoys providing a safe and secure environment. This role requires good communication and organizations skills, honesty and the desire to take care of others.

Requirements

Good written and oral communication skills.

1-3 years of security leadership experience.

1-3 years of hotel, front of house experience.

Schedule flexibility, including overnight.

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Overnight shift availability required.
