Key ResponsibilitiesArmed Security Officers are responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment through proactive observation, strong communication, and responsible decision-making.Responsibilities include:Conducting patrols and maintaining a visible professional security presence

Monitoring access points and controlling entry when necessary

Observing and reporting suspicious activity or safety concerns

Writing clear, accurate, and professional incident reports

Responding appropriately to emergencies and security incidents

Maintaining a calm and professional demeanor when interacting with the public

Operating within company policies, client expectations, and applicable state regulations

Demonstrating sound judgment in both routine and high-pressure situations

Minimum QualificationsApplicants must meet the following qualifications:Must possess a current Utah Armed Security Officer LicenseMust be 21 years of age or older

Must be able to pass background check and drug screening

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills

Must demonstrate professional judgement and decision-making ability

Must be physically capable of standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods

Must be able to climb stairs and remain alert during extended shifts

Must maintain professional grooming and appearance standards

Must demonstrate reliability, discipline, and a strong work ethic

Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a professional level.Preferred ExperienceWhile not required, the following backgrounds are highly desirable

Military service

Law enforcement

CorrectionsExecutive protection

High-level security operations

Defensive tactics or martial arts training

Emergency response or medical training
