About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Security team as Security Officer-Overnight Shift. The Security Officer is a vital member of our Security team who is responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for the employees and in which guests can relax and/or conduct business. This department establishes, promotes and maintains the hotel's security and property protection. The Security Team is available 24-hours a day. The Security Officer actively participates in the day-to-day security operations of the property to ensure the safety and security of all guests, personnel and property.

We are looking for individuals who are skilled problem solvers with a high attention to detail and a high sense of ethics and honesty. The Security Officer engages with a large number of guests, local law enforcement and other hotel personnel. Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills are required.

What you bring

At least 2 years of security detail experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
CPR and First-Aid certification.
Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, and HotSOS preferred/is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.

Schedule and Hours

This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work a minimum of 30 hours a week.
This is a day position. Candidates must be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
