Security Officer (3Rd Shift)

PING, Inc., maker of PING golf equipment, is seeking a full time SECURITY PATROL OFFICER responsible for the protection, safeguarding and security of assets, personnel, customers and all visitors.

SCHEDULE:

This position is for Saturdays & Sundays 6:30PM - 6:30AM and Mondays and Tuesdays 10:00PM - 6:30AM

This is a full time position (40 hours a week) and the pay range is $19.92 - $23.54.

YOU WILL:

• Secure/open facilities and gates on a daily schedule and/or upon request of user(s).
• Conduct security and fire check rounds as specified in plant protection instructions.
• Detect and report any suspicious or hazardous conditions.
• Perform access control duties.
• Check employee ID badges.
• Inspect hand carried items. Log items in/out of campus facilities.
• Log vehicles in/out.
• Patrol employee parking areas.
• Issue citations to violators and investigate on premise traffic accidents.
• Respond to building alarms, fires, disorders, medical problems or other such emergencies.
• Prepare "special reports" on all significant events or serious incidents.
• Maintain chronological record of shift activities on a "daily activity" report.
• Make judgment calls in emergencies or situations not covered by instructions.
• Accomplish all assigned security tasks in a competent, reliable, & highly professional manner.
• Demonstrate initiative and resourcefulness in challenging situations.

YOU HAVE:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior military, law enforcement, or security experience.
• Flexible availability, willing to work nights and weekends.
• Good oral and written communication, interpersonal skills and team orientated.
• Ability to walk/patrol throughout the shift in extreme weather conditions.
• Must possess a basic level of computer literacy of MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word & Excel
