Looking for a consistent weekday schedule and a security role where you can stay active and be part of an onsite team?
Sibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Security Officer for our Greenville, NC facility. We’re looking for a reliable, observant individual who takes safety seriously and is comfortable working in an active industrial environment.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
You won’t be sitting at a desk all day. Our Security Officers are actively involved in keeping the facility safe and secure.
You’ll:
- Control access to the facility and verify employees and visitors
- Patrol the facility and complete routine security checks
- Monitor cameras, alarms, and surveillance systems
- Screen individuals and packages using security equipment
- Operate metal detectors, handheld scanners, and X-ray equipment
- Assist with visitor check-in and escorts
- Respond to alarms and security-related incidents
- Communicate with the team by radio and telephone
- Complete incident reports and security documentation
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone who is dependable, alert, professional, and comfortable interacting with employees and visitors throughout the day.
You’ll need:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Prior security experience is a plus
- Military or law enforcement experience is preferred
WHAT WE OFFER
- Monday–Friday schedule
- Consistent 2:00 PM–10:00 PM shift
- Starting rate of $19.00 per hour

A FEW POSITION REQUIREMENTS
This is an active onsite security position. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, conduct searches of persons and packages, and lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
Employment is also subject to applicable ITAR and NAID requirements and successful completion of required pre-employment screening, including a background and credit check, drug screening, and physical examination.
