Security Officer Position Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Saturday and Sunday – Overnight (10p - 7a)Address: 780 Washington St, Quincy, MA 02169Pay Rate: $18.50/hourSignal of New England is seeking current and aspiring motivated security professionals with a desire to have a direct impact in the safety and wellbeing of the local community. Signal offers industry-leading training, incentive-based raises, and opportunities for career growth within our organization.Job Description:As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, and personnel. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance cameras and access control.
- Conduct routine security patrols and ensure compliance with site protocols.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of security logs, reports, and operational data.
- Assist with visitor access and identification verification.
- Follow site-specific post orders and duties as assigned.
- Must be computer literate with proficiency in data entry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior security or data entry experience is preferred.
- Must be eligible to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card) as required for site access. (30 days after hire)
