*Full time, night shift (6p - 6a), every other weekend.*

Works under general supervision to provide a secure and safe environment for the protection of patients, visitors, physicians, hospital personnel, and hospital assets.Hospital security shall be responsible for building and grounds patrol; provide escort service for visitors and staff; assist in the control of facility access; monitoring systems response; staff assistance with patient intervention / disruption by patients, visitors or staff; traffic control of both vehicular and visitors; investigation of thefts, disturbances and suspicious activity; record keeping and incident reporting; enforcement of hospital safety and security policies and practices; disaster, fire and hazard surveillance. In order to achieve world class engagement and to build hope, health and healing for all internal and external customers, this position must adhere to the Mary Lanning values.

GED or High School Diploma required.
