Security Solutions Architect

Location: Hybrid - Addison, TX OR McLean, VA OR Memphis, TN

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Lead secure solution architecture for major customer-facing initiatives across platforms impacting millions of global customers.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure software solutions are secure, resilient, and aligned with industry standards.
• Design and review end-to-end solution architectures, embedding security from concept through implementation.
• Translate business requirements into architecture designs, security requirements, and engineering guidelines.
• Develop and maintain security reference architectures and reusable solution patterns.
• Work with various teams to ensure solutions align with architecture models and regulatory obligations.
• Document architecture artifacts and provide implementation guidance for consistent secure delivery.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to integrate security across the full system lifecycle.
• Partner with engineering leaders to evaluate solution options and guide teams on design decisions.
• Communicate architecture recommendations in a practical, engineering-oriented manner.
• Define secure architecture patterns and controls to reduce vulnerabilities in products.
• Produce and maintain architecture artifacts like data flow diagrams and integration patterns.
• Contribute to the development and adoption of security and architecture standards.
• Support governance by reviewing architectures and documenting risks and controls.

Experience:

• 7 years of experience in Technology, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or Architecture.
• 5 years of hands-on experience in software engineering or application delivery.
• 3 years of solution or enterprise architecture experience.
• Experience in domains like Product Security, Application Security, or Cloud Security.
• Knowledge of Customer Identity and Authentication technologies.
• Understanding of cloud and application security concepts.
• Strong cryptography fundamentals and experience in protecting customer data.

Requirement:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a technology-related field.
• Experience as a solution or security architect, or senior software engineer.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and frameworks.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Strong software engineering background with experience in modern programming languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in high-volume customer digital platform environments.
