Job Description

Schedule: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Nights | 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM

About Us: Boardwalk Village is a vibrant lakeside resort destination in Celina, Ohio, offering a welcoming atmosphere for families, friends, and guests from across the region. As we continue to grow and create memorable experiences for our visitors, we’re looking for a reliable and professional Security Team Member to help ensure the safety and well-being of our guests, staff, and property.

Position Overview:The Security Team Member plays a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and friendly environment during evening hours. This is a part-time role perfect for someone who is observant, professional, and enjoys engaging with people in a calm and respectful manner.

Responsibilities:

Monitor resort grounds and buildings to ensure the safety of guests and staff
Provide a visible security presence and deter inappropriate or disruptive behavior
Respond to incidents, disturbances, or emergencies in a calm and professional manner
Communicate effectively with guests, staff, and local authorities if needed
Lock and secure pool areas, gates, common areas, and facilities as directed
Complete incident reports and nightly logs as necessary
Follow all resort policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Assist with keeping the property clean and organized by:
- Blowing off sidewalks and patios if needed
- Checking on trash and emptying if needed
- Checking on fire rings, grills, hot tubs and pools
Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

Previous security, law enforcement, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Must be at least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation to and from the resort
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather

Schedule & Pay:

Part-time; maximum of 15 hours per week
- Those interested can work as many shifts as they want – or as few. We wish to create a bullpen of individuals to provide maximum coverage and flexibility.
Shifts: Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM
