As part of a shift-left focus, you will work with development teams to proactively identify security vulnerabilities at the earliest stage. You will serve as a liaison between InfoSec and development teams, helping to understand and address security issues. A passion for staying updated with the constantly changing threat landscape and familiarity with the latest security vulnerabilities is crucial.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in software development/testing with large-scale enterprise applications with proficiency in manual and automated testing.
- Deep understanding of web application technologies, protocols, and browser technologies.
- Expertise in application security, including Identity and Access Management and various authentication methods.
- Experience with security testing tools such as Proxy tools, Black box security testing tools, and Static Security Code analysis tools.
- Knowledge of application security vulnerabilities like OWASP Top 10, SANS Top 25, CWE, and attack patterns (CAPEC).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with security technologies and standards like Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML/OpenID, OAuth protocols.
- Understanding of cryptographic algorithms and standards.
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities related to cloud environments.
- Security certifications are an added advantage.
- Understanding of threat modeling concepts and secure development life cycle processes.
- Familiarity with mobile application security.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Must be self-directed and able to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Perform authorized security testing on complex, large-scale, and critical applications.
- Work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Present findings to leadership, management, and development teams to help them understand risks and make informed decisions on mitigations and controls.
