Job Description:
As a Semi-Skilled Technician, you’ll work alongside experienced technicians, gaining practical skills through on-the-job training and structured courses (both online and in-person). This role is perfect for those eager to learn and advance in a stable, rewarding career.
Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled technicians with repair, installation, maintenance, or computer-related issues of vehicles.
- Participate in paid technical training, including online courses and in-person workshops.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Complete training assignments and apply new skills on the job.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willingness to learn and dedicate time to after-hours training (e.g., online courses).
- Commitment to career growth and advancing in the technician role.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job (e.g., lifting, climbing, working in various conditions).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the automotive field or completion of a secondary education program.
- Basic mechanical or technical skills (e.g., familiarity with tools or equipment).
