Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport countertops to multiple stops including DC's, service centers and home delivery customers safely and efficiently
- Load, unload and secure freight and verify load accuracy against packing list and BOL
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
- Complete required logs, delivery paperwork, and documentation accurately
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and compliance
- Communicate effectively with outside customers, warehouse and office staff
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Ability to meet DOT physical and driving requirements
- Clean MVR
- 1 year tractor/trailer experience
- Strong Safety awareness and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- OTR and city driving
Requirements
- Professionally represents Hartson-Kennedy
- Flexible work schedule and/or overtime as needed (Monday-Friday)
- Available for occasional overnight runs (including over weekends)
- Ability to lift 125 lbs
- Must pass a background and drug test
