As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of general accounting tasks, but will primarily be responsible for all accounting work associated with processing, analyzing, and reporting financial performance. Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all general ledger transactions and ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close procedures.
2. Prepare, review and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
3. Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses.
4. Assist in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management.
5. Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
6. Interact with various levels of management and staff in conducting interviews and testing internal process.
7. Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting process.
8. Offer insightful, strategic input to senior management on financial performance.
9. Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to meet both short and long-term operational goals.
10. Provide support in the management of company-wide strategic planning, forecasting, and budgeting initiatives.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
2. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role.
4. Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
5. Experience with financial reporting and financial statement preparation.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Proficiency with accounting software, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
10. High attention to detail and accuracy, even under pressure.
11. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
12. Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
13. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
