Job Details
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in the month-end close, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting operations for the business. This individual will partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and business leaders to provide financial insights, improve processes, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on accounting professional with manufacturing experience, strong business acumen, and the ability to understand how accounting impacts operational performance. Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred.
ResponsibilitiesLead key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processPrepare and analyze journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsSupport inventory accounting, cost accounting, and manufacturing-related transactionsAnalyze financial results and identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesPartner with operations, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure accurate financial reportingAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisEnsure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policiesSupport internal and external auditsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, and efficienciesLeverage NetSuite to streamline reporting and enhance financial visibilityParticipate in system enhancements and finance transformation initiativesAssist with special projects and ad hoc financial analysis
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceManufacturing industry experience requiredStrong understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting principlesExperience using NetSuite ERP strongly preferredSolid knowledge of U.S. GAAPAdvanced Excel skillsCPA or CPA-track preferredExcellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills with the ability to partner across multiple business functions
