Job Details

Our client, a rapidly growing company in the consumer services industry, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The organization serves thousands of customers daily and is focused on helping people feel more confident and better about themselves through a high-touch service experience.

This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys improving processes, working in a fast-paced environment, and helping build a strong accounting infrastructure. The company is currently utilizing Microsoft Great Plains and is looking for someone who can help streamline accounting operations, strengthen internal processes, and ensure a timely and accurate month-end close.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and participate in the month-end and year-end close processPrepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsHelp establish and improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting proceduresAnalyze financial data and support management with reporting and operational insightsMaintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting standardsPartner cross-functionally with operations and leadership teamsAssist with audits and support external accountants as neededWork within Microsoft Great Plains and help optimize system workflows

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance3+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of GAAP and month-end close proceduresExperience with Microsoft Great Plains preferredProven ability to improve processes and work independentlyStrong Excel and analytical skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilities
