These positions will support the financial operations of physician practices and work closely with accounting and operational leadership across the organization.This is a hands-on accounting role ideal for someone with healthcare industry experience who is comfortable owning key areas of the general ledger, supporting month-end close, and managing accounting activity across a multi-entity or multi-location environment.Two positions are currently available, supporting healthcare practices in Indiana and Pennsylvania. Job DetailsResponsibilities:

• Own key components of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments
• Complete balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations
• Review financial activity and investigate account discrepancies or unusual variances
• Support accounting activities for assigned physician practices and operating entities
• Partner with practice and operational leaders to resolve accounting-related questions
• Assist with financial reporting and month-end analysis
• Maintain accurate supporting documentation and accounting schedules
• Support audit requests and internal accounting initiatives
• Help identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting
• Work cross-functionally with finance, accounting, and healthcare operations teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Healthcare accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close
• Experience preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
• Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting principles
• Ability to manage multiple entities, locations, or business units
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
