Job DetailsJob Details:Are you a seasoned financial professional with a passion for commercial real estate? We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your accounting skills in the exciting world of commercial real estate. Our Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in our organization, supporting our financial operations and contributing to our growth and success.Responsibilities:As a Permanent Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and managing all general ledger accounting including but not limited to the preparation and review of financial statements, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Preparing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to ensure financial information has been recorded accurately.
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensuring compliance with all internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Liaising with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
• Providing financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Participating in special projects and implementing financial systems and process improvements.
• Collaborating with other departments to streamline financial practices.

Qualifications:The ideal candidate for the Senior Accountant role should have the following qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA designation is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the commercial real estate industry.
• Proven experience in reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and producing income statements.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of management.
