Senior Accountant
About the Role
Are you a numbers-driven professional who thrives on improving processes and tackling new challenges? We're looking for an energetic Senior Accountant to join our finance and accounting team!
In this role, you'll be a key player in keeping our financial operations running smoothly. You'll handle everything from closing the books each month to analyzing financial data and preparing reports that help leadership make smart business decisions.
What You'll Do
You'll lead our month-end and year-end closing process—this means making sure all financial transactions are recorded correctly and on time. You'll prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and track important assets like equipment, inventory, and software investments.
You'll also work closely with our project management team on revenue recognition, prepare budget-to-actual analyses, and create monthly financial reports with your insights on the results. Additionally, you'll help lead our annual budgeting process and handle customer invoicing.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA license is a plus)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in general accounting and financial reporting
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Strong skills in accounting software systems and Excel
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teammates at all levels
- Proactive attitude—you spot potential issues before they become problems
