Note

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, be a CPA or CPA candidate, and have public accounting experience working with construction industry clients, including both tax preparation and financial statement work.

Job Description

Prepare and review federal and multistate business tax returns, including Forms 1120S, 1120, and 1065, along with individual tax returns.
Prepare and review financial statements, including compilations, reviews, and audit engagements for construction industry clients.
Manage general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, financial schedules, and supporting workpapers.
Work directly with construction business owners to address accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting needs.
Collaborate with firm leadership on tax planning, financial analysis, and client advisory services.
Support audit and review engagements, ensuring accurate financial reporting and high-quality deliverables.
Use professional accounting and tax software to manage engagements efficiently and maintain accurate financial records.
Take ownership of your assignments while contributing to a supportive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.
Public accounting experience serving construction industry clients.
Experience preparing business tax returns and financial statements.
Knowledge of construction accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance.
Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship skills.
Ability to manage assignments independently while collaborating with colleagues and firm leadership.
Experience with CCH ProSystem fx Tax or Engagement is a plus.
