Job Details

What You’ll Do:Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close processManage and mentor a small accounting team (2–3 team members)Oversee reconciliation of high-volume Shopify and ecommerce transactionsEnsure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606Support accounting operations across both DTC and retail sales channelsManage sales tax and indirect tax processes and complianceDevelop and improve accounting policies, controls, and operational proceduresPartner cross-functionally with FP&A, operations, and leadership teamsSupport external audits and financial reporting requirementsDrive process improvements and help scale the accounting infrastructure as the business growsAssist with systems optimization and automation initiatives

What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA preferred6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within ecommerce, consumer products, or high-growth companiesStrong knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognitionExperience reconciling Shopify or other high-volume ecommerce transactional dataFamiliarity with inventory and retail accounting environmentsPrior experience managing or mentoring accounting staffStrong attention to detail with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environmentProcess-oriented mindset with a passion for building scalable systemsExcellent communication and organizational skills
