Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits.
- Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Meet financial accounting objectives.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA needed.
- Minimum of 4 + years of progressive audit experience.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant.
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position.

- Occasional overtime may be required.
