Job Details

Key ResponsibilitiesLead month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and review journal entries and general ledger activityPerform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepanciesSupport job costing and project financial trackingAssist with WIP schedules and percentage of completion accountingPrepare financial reports and support management with analysisAssist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controlsCollaborate cross-functionally with operations and project teams

Qualifications3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or contractingStrong understanding of GAAP and general ledger accountingExperience with job costing and project-based accountingFamiliarity with WIP reporting is a plusProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, or similar)Strong analytical skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesBachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
