Job Description
The Senior Acquisition and Merger Analyst has a significant role supporting Mergers & Acquisitions activities, including the strategic and financial evaluation of potential and active targets, financial modeling, business case development, and project support for deal activity.
Position Details:
- Supports the Corporate Development team across all phases of deal activity – deal sourcing, due diligence and post-close integration
- Assists with the strategic evaluation, detailed financial modeling, valuation, and development of buy and sell side M&A business cases
- Supports the development of evaluation and diligence work plans
- Participates in the creation and development of deal documents and management presentations
- Develops and prepares presentations on the results of research and analysis of acquisition targets for use by Senior Management.
- Supports the corporate development sourcing process by collaborating across functions to identify, prioritize, and pursue opportunities
- Supports deal pipeline development by researching potential acquisition targets. Research activities to include target sectors, geographies, and specific companies using primary and secondary source research methods
