#WeAreHiring: Senior Ag Loan Officer, Lead a Premier Farm Portfolio

Ready to own a high-value ag book and be paid for the relationships you build? gpac is recruiting on behalf of a confidential client, a national agricultural lending company. They need a seasoned ag credit professional who lives in the territory and works remotely. You will advise larger farm operations and help shape growth in a market you already know.

Remote, territory-based: you must live within the Western and Central North Dakota (Bismarck area) territory; rural candidates encouraged.

Here is what you will do. Manage a portfolio of about 30 to 40 larger, more complex farm and agribusiness clients across your home territory. Bring in new producer relationships, with most of your effort on seasonal operating credit and the rest on partner-funded land and equipment loans. Run yearly renewals, including pricing, terms, and documents, together with the credit and operations teams. Track portfolio results and early risk signs, and step in quickly when a client needs help. Take on accounts as the team grows, and keep forecasts and pipeline current in the CRM.

Here is what you bring. A strong ag background and proven business development results. 3 to 5+ years of banking experience in ag lending, with solid credit skills and a track record as a producer who brings in new loans. Leadership experience is a plus but not required. Knowledge of loan documents, a self-starter attitude, and excellent communication skills. Crop insurance knowledge is a plus. In return, you get $85,000 to $130,000 base plus strong bonus potential on new business and renewals, and a vehicle package (company vehicle and fuel card) with 401(k) (Roth and pre-tax options) with employer match, paid time off, and a competitive benefits package.
