Request ID: 91326-1 Title: Senior AI Engineer & Quality Engineering (QE) Leader Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6+ Months Pay Range: $33.00- $37.00/hour on W2 We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer & Quality Engineering (QE) Lead to lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of enterprise-scale AI platforms and AI engineering practices. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AI Engineering, DevSecOps, AIOps, LLMOps, AI governance, and platform engineering while driving large-scale AI initiatives from concept through production.
This leader will establish AI Software Development Lifecycle (AI SDLC/ADLC) standards, build high-performing engineering teams, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to accelerate enterprise AI adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and operationalize the end-to-end AI engineering lifecycle.
- Lead enterprise AI engineering and AI platform delivery teams.
- Build and scale AI platforms and Internal Developer Platforms (IDP).
- Establish AI SDLC and AI Development Lifecycle (ADLC) governance.
- Drive adoption of DevSecOps, AIOps, and LLMOps practices.
- Design CI/CD pipelines for AI, ML, and Generative AI workloads.
- Implement enterprise AI governance, security, compliance, and risk management.
- Define engineering KPIs and delivery metrics.
- Standardize AI tools, frameworks, and development platforms.
- Build reusable AI components and platform services.
- Lead Agile pod/squad-based delivery organizations.
- Optimize engineering productivity and remove delivery bottlenecks.
- Partner with enterprise architects and executive leadership on AI strategy.
- Ensure production readiness, scalability, reliability, and operational excellence.
