Who We Are & What You'll Do

Since opening on Feb. 28, 1995, Denver International Airport (DEN) has become one of the world's busiest airports. In 2025, 82,427,962 passengers passed through DEN, making DEN 4th busiest airport in the U.S. and the world's 10th busiest airport. DEN is Colorado's primary economic engine, generating $47.2 billion in annual economic impact for the state. At DEN, we are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace. We celebrate individuality and strive to keep Equity, Diversity, Inclusion & Accessibility (EDIA) at the center of all that we do.

Denver International Airport (DEN) is looking for a Senior Airport Administrator to join our Commercial Business Development team. This team manages and grows landside commercial properties to support DEN customer experience and increase non-aeronautical revenue to DEN. This currently includes managing over 15,000 acres of land for the Rental Car, Hotel, Farm, Solar, and Telecom lines of business. We provide strategic direction and oversight and serve as the main relationship managers for these tenants. We are also working on several projects that provide great opportunities to improve the customer experience at DEN, as well as contribute to our goal to be the greenest airport in the world.

In this role you'll contribute to the success of DEN by maximizing the performance of a unique commercial revenue portfolio and will gain valuable experience and exposure to the inner workings of procuring, negotiating, administering, and enforcing the terms of these agreements.

Specifically, as the Senior Airport Administrator for Commercial Business, you will:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and property manager for an assigned portfolio, focused primarily on Rental Car agreements, with the ability to flex to additional programs such as Hotel, Farm, Solar, and/or Telecom based on experience, skillset, and business needs.

  • Manage assigned responsibilities including DEN contracting process, monitoring shared inboxes, coordinating with stakeholders, scheduling meetings, and preparing presentations and outreach materials.

  • Oversee contract compliance and project tracking, including preparing reports and data visualizations for leadership.

  • Manage administrative tasks related to revenue agreements and contracts, including initiation, internal review, execution, City Council approval, and billing.

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Division as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

  • Experience managing revenue contracts and agreements, including compliance activities and reporting.

  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex programs or projects with multiple dependencies and deadlines.

  • Experience collaborating with tenants, engineers, and internal teams to define needs and allocate resources effectively.

  • Experience managing, coordinating and reporting on the status and milestones of various projects simultaneously.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and initiative with a can-do, solution-oriented mindset.

Required Minimum Qualifications

  • Education requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Experience Requirement: Five (5) years of professional experience conducting complex analysis on a variety of issues as needed in retail, food and beverage, commercial property, car rental, parking and ground transportation businesses, airline affairs, or a related industry.

  • Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. A combination of appropriate education and experience may be substituted for the minimum education and experience requirements.
