Job Description
ROLE:
Working with Director of Operations, helps direct and coordinate the activities of the Radiologic
Department. Technologist managers and employees assigned to his/her region follow company policy
and procedures. Responsible for assigned region, patient care, patient flow and quality that meets or
exceeds company standards.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Ensure all Imaging services, DDF - Required Documents, Billing/Pended Claims/ Manual Tech Logs
are submitted timely for Billing to close the month.
o Partner with all Area Managers, ensuring all Radiologic Technologists receive training and required
competencies.
o Ensuring all field radiology policies and procedures are being followed
o Responsible for coordinating required CMS/State Inspections. Must maintain Equipment Inventory
and ensure Required Preventive Maintenance records are current).
o Must ensure all Radiologic Technologist CRT/ARRT Credentialing
o Tracking of all radiology vehicles and Imaging equipment.
o Working with the DOO, develop and implementation of field programs for quality assurance.
Providing DOO's with feedback for process improvement regarding workflow and productivity
o Oversight of vendor programs for equipment, maintenance and service needs.
o Coordination with sales department for positive impact to business development.
o Review current schedules providing DOO's with recommendations on areas that can improve TAT
without adding FTE or equipment
o RSO - Radiation Safety Officer: Ensure all areas are monitoring and submitting monthly Dosimetry
badge reports for your review and signature and record keeping, ensure all over exposures are,
addressed with Radiological Technologist documented by ALARA Notification forms and
documentation in writing to HR file.
Skills and Experience:
o XRAY Certification (required)
o Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills
o Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
of organization.
o Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
o Candidate must be a self-starter, with strong time management skills and the ability to
multitask and priority workloads.
