u003cpu003eu003cspan style="text-decoration: underline;"u003ePosition Summaryu003c/spanu003eu003c/pu003enu003cpu003eGeneral Atlantic is looking to hire a Senior Associate to join the Pu003cspan data-teams="true"u003eortfolio Talent Solutionsu003c/spanu003e team in our Miami Office.u003c/pu003enu003cpu003eu003cspan style="text-decoration: underline;"u003eResponsibilitiesu003c/spanu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eSupport and project manage C-suite search assignments in close partnership with GA PHC, portfolio company management teams and GA investment professionalsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eWhere appropriate, independently run searches for portfolio companies including identifying, sourcing, and qualifying senior executivesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eu003cuu003eSpecificallyu003c/uu003e:nu003culu003enu003cliu003eSupport the scoping of senior roles and development of position specificationsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eResearch new industries, market segments, and competitive landscapes to map the talent ecosystem in support of portfolio company needsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eBased on a pre-defined spec, develop a research strategy that outlines targeted industries and companiesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eGain an understanding of the functional breakdown and roles within various executive structures and serve as an expert to the team on the markets/talent pools researchedu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eProactively engage, assess and introduce qualified executives to GA investment professionals and portfolio companiesu003c/liu003enu003c/ulu003enu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eBuild an evolving external network, with a focus on potential future talent that may be suitable for current and future portfolio initiativesu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eSupport the team in conducting quantitative and qualitative management assessments to identify capability gaps and opportunities for learning u0026amp; developmentu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eIdentifying opportunities for syndicating processes across the portfolio, to enable sharing of best practices and cost synergy where appropriateu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eLeverage and utilize best practice global tools and capabilities (i.e. Scorecards, Interview Guides, Competency Model), when conducting research/search effortsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eWhere external search firms are engaged, work closely with GA operating professionals to support and coordinate the search processes including executive search firm screening, development of spec/scorecards, preliminary screening interviews, and collating/analyzing feedback from candidate interviewsu003c/liu003enu003c/ulu003enu003cpu003eu003cspan style="text-decoration: underline;"u003eQualificationsu003c/spanu003eu003c/pu003enu003culu003enu003cliu003eBachelor's degree requiredu003c/liu003enu003cliu003e4-6 years of relevant experience; background in executive search, a high growth company or chief of staff role preferred. Experience working in a leading executive search firm, preferably with exposure to services or consumer sectors.u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eExperience supporting search engagements or talent projects, including producing clear deliverables (status updates, candidate summaries, project briefs)u003c/liu003enu003cliu003eExperience engaging with external clients/candidates in the marketu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eStrong project management skills - able to manage multiple workstreams, align stakeholders, and keep work moving through ambiguity; adapts quickly as priorities shiftu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAnalytical and intellectually curious, with an eagerness to learn and connect dots across contexts; brings strong intuition and good judgment, and is not afraid to ask questions or challenge assumptionsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eProficiency with AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT, paired with the curiosity to test new capabilities and bring better ways of working to the teamu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eStrong attention to detail, exceptional follow through and consistently delivers resultsu003c/liu003enu003cliu003eAbility to work independently and proactively in a high performing global organization.
