Job Description
If you’re highly organized, accurate, and skilled at keeping complex documentation under control, this is an opportunity to bring those strengths to a classified defense program.
In this role, you’ll support engineering and program-management teams by managing product data, technical documentation, contract deliverables, and configuration-management records. You’ll make sure critical information is accurately prepared, controlled, distributed, tracked, and archived.
- Manage CDRLs and SDRLs and ensure contract deliverables are submitted accurately and on schedule
- Maintain delivery schedules and communicate requirements and deadlines to program-team members
- Review documentation for proper formatting, markings, contract authorization, and compliance
- Assign and track document-control numbers and other required identifiers
- Manage incoming and outgoing customer communications and track messages
- Maintain electronic folder structures and transfer data between networks and systems
- Perform file scanning, uploading, and media burning
- Enter information into configuration-management systems and correct inaccurate or incomplete records
- Support engineering and program-management activities as assigned
- Work occasional overtime or outside normal business hours when necessary to meet deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance with elevated polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience; graduate degree with 0–2 years of related experience; or at least 6 years of related experience without a degree
- Strong organizational, data-entry, document-control, and accuracy skills
- Ability to work onsite in Palm Bay, Florida
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio
- PDF-document interpretation and database systems
- Configuration-management tools such as Agile PLM, Confluence, or Windchill
- Statements of Work and Data Item Descriptions
- Lean Six Sigma or other continuous-process-improvement methods
