The Senior Associate, Paralegal- Private Real Estate will play an integral role in managing legal processes, compliance, and documentation for private real estate transactions.
Client Details
This organization is an NYC based global asset management company. This role will report to the SEnior VP/Associate General Counsel in their Private Real Estate division. This role is 4 days a week in office.
Description
- Prepare, review, and manage legal documents and contracts related to private real estate transactions.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations for real estate investments.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel for transaction closings and other legal matters.
- Maintain and organize legal files, databases, and records for the legal department.
- Support due diligence efforts by gathering, reviewing, and analyzing documentation.
- Draft routine correspondence and other legal documentation as directed.
- Monitor and track deadlines to ensure timely completion of legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in special projects and provide general legal support as needed.
Profile
A successful Senior Associate, Paralegal- Private Real Estate should have:
- 2-5 years of law firm in house legal experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and legal documentation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with diverse teams.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
- A degree or certification in paralegal studies or a related field is preferred.
