Position Summary:

Your Impact (Essential Duties):Perform, supervise, and review complex accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, coding expenses, bill payments, and accounts receivable for multiple entitiesOversee annual accounting procedures to prepare records for tax preparation, 1099s, and tangible personal property returnsPrepare and review compilations on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis based on client requirementsIdentify material misstatements and evaluate inconsistencies in financial reportsPrepare client cash flow forecasts and monitor engagement performance against budgetsAnalyze organizational structures and financial impacts to ensure accurate accountingTrain and review work for associates, providing constructive feedback to foster growthCommunicate effectively with team members and clients to address project statuses and inquiriesContribute to team efforts through collaboration, volunteering support, and knowledge sharingParticipate in professional development through training sessions and independent learningManage multiple engagements and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesPerform other duties and display flexibility to take on a variety of responsibilities assigned by firm leadership  Meet annual billable hour and other targets to fulfill individual performance and overall firm productivityYour Background:3-5 years of experience in general accountingCPA license or eligible (preferred)Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fieldStrong understanding of complex accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting frameworksProficiency in learning and using accounting software and related toolsExcellent verbal and written communication skills for collaboration and client interactionsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAccurate mathematical and financial analysis skillsAbility to work independently while also coaching newer team members and seeking support from leadership as neededAnalytical thinking to identify and address inconsistencies in financial reportingDemonstrated problem-solving skills where solutions are proactively proposed to relevant partiesProactive approach to delivering a high-quality customer experience in a multi-client environmentFull-time commitment and flexibility to work beyond regular hours to meet team deadlines
