Job Description

OverviewREV is seeking an expert‑level .NET Architect/Developer to support a major enterprise modernization initiative. The objective of this engagement is to transform a legacy application into a modern .NET 8+ microservices‑based architecture. This role places strong emphasis on system architecture, API development, performance optimization, and technical leadership. The selected candidate will function as a core technical contributor embedded within a broader engineering team.Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable, secure microservices using .NET 8+
Develop high-performance RESTful APIs to support system integration
Re-architect and optimize SQL Server data models and queries
Lead complex debugging, code reviews, and technical mentorship
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud integration (Azure/AWS)
Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum environment (standups, sprint planning, reviews)

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience with .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and SQL Server
Proven expertise in application architecture and performance optimization
Strong experience with REST API design and microservices architecture
Familiarity with cloud-native development and DevOps practices
Experience with CI/CD tools, Git, and Azure DevOps (or similar)
Prior experience working in a staff augmentation or embedded team model
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Must possess or be eligible for U.S. government security clearance
