Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Bilingual Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to join a growing personal injury law firm in Garland, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned paralegal with extensive plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience who is comfortable managing a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of personal injury experience, be fluent in English and Spanish, and have experience managing a caseload of 100+ cases. This individual will serve as a primary case manager and provide comprehensive support throughout the lifecycle of a case, from initial intake through settlement, litigation, and closing. Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of 100+ personal injury matters
- Handle cases from initial intake and opening through settlement and closing
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and treatment
- Communicate with insurance companies, medical providers, and other parties
- Order and review medical records, bills, and supporting documentation
- Obtain documentation necessary to establish injury and liability claims
- Work with insurance carriers to determine coverage and policy limits
- Track medical treatment, provider balances, and case-related documentation
- Draft complaints, discovery responses, correspondence, and other litigation documents
- Maintain organized and accurate electronic case files
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely follow-up throughout the litigation process
- Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys as cases progress
- 5+ years of plaintiff personal injury pre-litigation and litigation experience required
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Previous experience managing a high-volume caseload of at least 100 cases
- Strong understanding of the personal injury case lifecycle
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate professionally and compassionately with clients
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Base salary: $75,000$95,000, commensurate with experience
