Senior Business AnalystContract Position: 12-18months+Location: Austin, Texas (Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite)We are seeking a Business Analyst to provide technical assistance across one or more concurrent projects. This role will coordinate and lead meetings to understand and document business operations, systems, and user needs, ensuring comprehensive requirements analysis for technology solutions that enhance business value. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision, meeting tight deadlines, and collaborating across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:
- Experience planning, leading, gathering, and analyzing business and functional requirements in cooperation with business and technical groups.
- Experience developing business process maps and performing fit-gap analyses.
- Experience solving complex problems and troubleshooting software systems.
- Experience simultaneously collecting requirements across multiple program areas with varying business needs.
- Experience gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements.
- Experience developing Business Requirement Documents and Software Requirement Specifications.
- Experience facilitating workshops, meetings, and collaborative work sessions with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
- Experience preparing and executing test plans, leading and assisting team members with test activities, and documenting and communicating testing results.
- Experience implementing and testing interfaces that exchange data with large, complex legacy systems.
- Experience assisting with development of plans and work artifacts in support of the project management life cycle.
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management software such as HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) or Atlassian.
- Experience with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL) preferred.
- Provide technical assistance to staff and business stakeholders across one or more concurrent projects.
- Coordinate and lead meetings to understand and document business operations, systems, and user needs.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of requirements for technology solutions that enhance business value.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing and work with the project team to identify and document software defects.
- Coordinate defect resolution with the project's Technical Lead.
