Job Description

Paulaner USA is the US importer of one of Germany’s most iconic brewing brands — a company where premium product meets entrepreneurial energy. Our finance team is small, collaborative, and close to the business, which means the work you do here is visible and consequential from day one.

In this role, you’ll own the month-end close process, produce financial statements and management reports, and deliver the kind of sharp business analytics that help leadership make confident decisions. It’s a hands-on position that rewards people who are equally comfortable in the details and the big picture — and who want room to grow as the company does.

Requirements

Accounting & Close

  •        Lead the month-end close process: journal entry generation, account and inventory reconciliationPrepare financial statements and management reports with accompanying analysis
  •        Manage regulatory compliance filings, including monthly Excise Tax returnsSupport annual audit preparation and provide audit assistance as needed
  •        Provide cross-functional coverage for Accounting Staff during peak periods

    Business Analytics & Planning

    Deliver business analytics focused on operational performance and management decision-making
  •        Support Sales Management with analysis, field promotion processing, and marketing spend tracking to the program levelAssist the CFO with annual plan preparation and supporting analytics

    Systems & Process

  •        Serve as a Power User of NetSuite; identify and drive process improvements in partnership with Finance and ITContribute to the adoption and optimization of cloud-based reporting tools
  •        Design complex Excel models (pivot tables, lookups, and advanced formulas) to analyze financial data, improve reporting accuracy, and drive business insights.

    CPG experience a plus
