Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union is currently searching for an experienced and talented Senior Business Intelligence Developer to join our amazing Business Intelligence team! 

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will have the ability to work a hybrid schedule (remote/onsite) after a period of training (time frame may vary). Training will take place at the RBFCU Administrative Service Center: 1 Ikea-RBFCU Pkwy, Live Oak, Texas 78233.

All applicants must reside within the state of Texas and have the capability of performing all of the work from their home in Texas.

To successfully work from home, employees must have access to a minimum internet connection as noted by RBFCU.

    Must have a reliable home internet provider and the ability to hard wire a connection directly to modem (Ethernet cable provided)Must be able to provide a workspaces at home that is safe, suitable for work, and within a distraction free environment

The Senior Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making within the organization. This role involves creating interactive dashboards, reports, and data models to provide actionable insights and enhance business performance.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Perform complex data analyses to identify trends and patterns

  • Dashboard Development: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports

  • Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources for analysis

  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior BI developers

  • Data Visualization: Create visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

  • Data Quality: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability

  • Performance Tuning: Optimize BI processes for performance

  • Documentation: Document BI processes and workflows

  • Data Security: Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum of 3 years’ job related experience

  • Significant experience in performing complex data analyses and developing interactive dashboards

  • Strong background in data integration and visualization

  • Proven ability to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability

  • Experience in optimizing BI processes for performance

  • Familiarity with data security measures is required

Skills, Certifications, and Licensing:

  • Python Programming: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and analysis

  • Databricks Experience: Strong experience with Databricks for data processing and analytics

  • Power BI Skills: Proficiency in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI

  • SQL: Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL for querying and managing databases

  • Data Analysis: Skills in performing complex data analyses to identify trends and patterns

  • Data Integration: Experience in integrating data from various sources

  • Data Visualization: Ability to create visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders

  • Mentorship: Providing guidance and support to junior BI developers

  • Data Quality: Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and reliability

  • Data Security: Implementing data security measures to protect sensitive information

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a closely related field. In lieu of bachelor’s degree, four years of related experience will equal to bachelor’s degree
