Senior Client Advisor (Accounting)

Growing fintech company who helps businesses with accounting and advisory services is seeking a client service advisor to join their team. The Senior Client Advisor manages a portfolio of clients and serves as their primary financial partner, delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services. This role combines client leadership, team oversight, and hands-on accounting in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment. Key Responsibilities Own client relationships and act as the primary point of contact. Deliver monthly financial reviews, close processes, and accurate financial reporting. Lead and review the work of 1 3 bookkeepers across AP/AR, reconciliations, and transaction processing. Manage month-end close, general ledger, and accrual-based accounting. Reconcile tax returns to financial records and resolve discrepancies. Drive service quality, timeliness, and budget adherence. Implement and manage cloud accounting tools and integrations. Identify process improvements and recommend technology to increase efficiency. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years experience leading bookkeepers or staff accountants. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms. Background in public accounting, consulting, or professional services. Strong accrual accounting expertise;experience across SMB, tech, e-commerce, or real estate a plus.
