Our Brentwood, TN office has an excellent opportunity to join us as a Senior Client Service Manager. This experienced individual will be focused on onboarding and servicing our clients. We're looking for someone with a high level of professionalism and deep financial knowledge to enhance our relationships with our clients who have complex service and investment needs. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between the client and the Financial Advisor and will work with all aspects of the client experience, including financial paperwork and financial account review preparation. This is a collaborative, team-oriented environment offering career advancement opportunities within the client service space.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 (depending on qualifications), exclusive of bonuses and benefits. Primary Job Functions

New Client Onboarding

  • Ensures accurate completion of prospect/new client paperwork/set up

  • Serves the client by completing paperwork and following up on the transfer of funds from the surrendering company to the receiving company. Answers any questions regarding the transfer process. Troubleshoots the various problems that arise from the transfer process

  • Maintains Salesforce database and client files (filing, copies, data input)

  • Records incoming assets to the appropriate blotting tool

Client Relationship Management

  • Responsible for greeting clients coming in for meetings and providing customer service to new/existing clients

  • Outbound client calls for appointment confirmations and rescheduling

  • Handle incoming client calls for appointments and service needs

  • Dialogues with client to understand their personal history and current financial needs

  • Communicates to understand client requests, determines what needs to be done; communicates to the advisor or handles issue resolution, including death claim processing

  • May work with client's tax or legal counsel on client concerns

Client Services Functions

  • Serves as primary liaison between client and FA

  • Researches and follows up on any outstanding issues as it relates to the Broker/Dealer, WEG Operations, and vendors

  • Gathers data and prepares summary reports for the FA for use in the client reviews. Assists FA in client meetings

  • Completes any review follow-up needs for client

  • Performs trades, as directed by the client or FA, and ensures they are properly executed.

  • Assists the client in making additional deposits or withdrawals from their accounts, as well as, other service-related requests and transactions such as RMDs

  • Records the buys and sells in the Branch Trade Report and Commission Blotter

  • Conducts Tax Research (1099's) and provides gain / loss reports

Industry / Product / Company Knowledge

  • Demonstrates knowledge and can accurately execute against WEG's Suitability Guidelines, operational processes, and sales model

  • Understands financial terminology and products

  • Has working proficiency with annuities, mutual funds, separately managed accounts, fixed income, stocks, options, alternative investments, hedge funds, and charitable giving practices

  • Attends Client Services and company educational events

Team and Corporate Support

  • Assist Office Manager/FA in creating office efficiencies and streamlined processes

  • Completes operational projects to support enhancements and changes

  • Prepares, leads and communicates process and sales updates in team meetings

  • Knowledge of the planning process, may assist in in the process with the planner or FA

  • Prepare reviews for the planner or FA as needed

  • Assists in training staff

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in business, finance, economics, or related field preferred

  • 5-7+ years of financial service experience preferred (we welcome candidates both more and less experienced to apply as well)

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills required

  • Ability to work with deadlines, be flexible under pressure, and prioritize work

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required

  • Familiarity with Salesforce preferred

WEG hires employees and makes decisions about their salary qualifications based on factors such as the role to be performed; educational and professional experience, qualifications, skills and credentials; tenure, cost-of-living, and demand for the role in the applicable market. To comply with state pay transparency laws, we must disclose the entire salary grade. The entire salary grade for those who are classified at the individual contributor level is $57,750.00 to $126,000.00. However, the base salary range bolded above ($90,000.00 to $110,000.00) is what we expect to pay as a starting range for this position.
