Senior Commercial Hvac Technician

We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC and/or Chiller Service Technician to join our growing service team. This role is ideal for a highly skilled, self-motivated technician who enjoys working independently, troubleshooting complex commercial HVAC systems, and delivering exceptional service to customers. As our chiller division continues to expand, we're also interested in experienced commercial HVAC technicians looking to grow into chiller work.

What You Will Be Doing:

-Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and chiller systems.

-Independently respond to and complete service calls with minimal supervision.

-Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and system inspections on a variety of commercial HVAC equipment.

-Clearly communicate findings and recommended repairs to customers and internal team members.

-Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders.

-Participate in the rotating on-call schedule.

-Service work is concentrated throughout Nassau County and the surrounding areas.

-Typical daily driving ranges from 30-60 miles, often less.

-Technicians generally service 1-4 customer locations per day, depending on workload.

Required Skills Experience:

-5+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred.

-Ability to work independently and effectively manage service calls from start to finish.

-Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills on commercial HVAC systems.

-Ability to read electrical diagrams, blueprints, and technical schematics.

-Experience servicing a variety of commercial HVAC equipment manufacturers.

-For Chiller Technician candidates, experience as an A-level chiller mechanic is required.

-Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
