Senior Construction Project Manager

Our client in Pittsburgh, PA is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

• Project planning and revisions
• Negotiating prices with vendors and suppliers to ensure the most competitive quotes
• Hiring quality subcontractors
• Supervising the project and superintendents
• Reporting progress to superiors and clients

Essential Functions

• Lead and review all construction projects with the Executive management team.
• Work with the Vice President of Construction to organize and manage the Project Management department.
• Periodic check-ins with onsite superintendents
• Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short-term and long-term goals.
• Lead weekly meetings for any ongoing and future projects.
• Create and run any necessary Project Management training.
• Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and third-party vendors.
• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
• Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
• Work with Executive management to assign projects to any Project Management team member.
• Primary contact for any project questions and/or issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor"s degree in Management or appropriate field is a requirement.
• 3-5 years' experience in a project management or similar role
• Experience in using Jonas Premier, Procore and all Microsoft Office products.
• GC experience in commercial buildouts
• Ability to read and understand project plans and specifications-Ability to obtain a thorough knowledge of each project allowing for any potential issues to be addressedproactively
• Ability to address any unforeseen problems quickly and professionally
• Is goal oriented and can react quickly to challenging circumstances to ensure desired end results are met in a timely fashion
• Attention to detail is a must
• Ability to communicate clearly via email, telephone and face to face meetings
• Astute understanding of construction regulations
