Senior Corporate Accountant | Real Estate Investment

A high growth and well-respected real estate investment organization is seeking a sharp Senior Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team.

* 3 days/week in office hybrid*

*$110-$125K base + 10-15% annual bonus*

The position offers direct exposure to executive leadership, including the Controller and CAO, while playing a key role in process improvement, operational scalability, and strategic accounting initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys ownership, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants visibility into complex real estate transactions and corporate accounting operations.

The team is looking for a proactive, solutions-oriented accounting professional who can think strategically while remaining hands-on in execution.

Key areas of focus include:

• Month-end close, consolidations, reconciliations, and GAAP reporting

• Oversight of property management company financials and trial balance integrations

• Capital transactions including acquisitions, refinances, dispositions, and resyndications

• SOX/internal controls and audit support

• Process automation and accounting modernization initiatives

• Managing and mentoring offshore accounting resources

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of accounting experience within public accounting and industry

• Strong GAAP and consolidation experience

• Real estate, multifamily, affordable housing, or investment accounting exposure preferred

• CPA or CPA in progress preferred

• Advanced Excel skills with Yardi or related real estate systems experience preferred
